Volunteers In Progress - Western University
What is V.I.P.?
VIP stands for Volunteers In Progress. It is a student volunteer program created by the Student Development Centre in 1983. It was designed to complement students' academic life by providing them with an opportunity to develop skills and gain career-related work experience. Additionally, it enables the Student Development Centre to offer a wider variety of programs and services to Western's community.

"Don’t hesitate to join the program. The experience as a VIP volunteer will most definitely help you build your character whether it is becoming more open-minded, culturally aware, or sharpening your organizational or leadership skillsets. All the while, this opportunity allows you to connect with a community of like-minded peers."
- Peter Park (International Student Activity Coordinator 2017-18)
